What is it?

Our 10 week Gardening Program provides:
Therapeutic Escape: Discover the calming and therapeutic benefits of gardening as a means of managing mental health challenges.

Supportive Community: Connect with other parents who understand the ups and downs of mental health struggles in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Accessible Wellness: Engage in a wellness activity that is accessible and adaptable to your needs, providing a gentle yet effective way to care for your mental health.

Growth and Healing: Experience the healing power of nurturing plants and watching them thrive, mirroring your own journey towards resilience and growth.

Guided Support: Receive guidance and encouragement from experienced gardeners who understand the uniqu

What to Expect

Gardening will have a maximum of 8-10 other parents attending. The group will be small and informal and very relaxed. It will take place in our Gardening Area and indoors, a dedicated community space where we hold all our programs and drop-in activities.

This course is available to any parent who is registered with us for support.

All of our courses have very limited places. By signing up, you are committing to taking part in the full course. If you don’t think you can make the commitment, it is very important that you let us know before the course starts so we can give your space to someone else.

I'm not registered with The Parent Rooms, can I still attend?

Due to limited resources we are currently only offering our programs and activities for parents who are registered with us for support (with the exception of our drop-in activities such as coffee mornings which everyone can attend).

Do I have to pay for this program?

No. All our courses and programs are free for parents who are registered with our service. We only ask that if you book a place that you commit to turning up on the day and if not, giving us notice so we can allocate your space to someone else.
