CURRENT JOB OPENINGS:

Sessional Childcare Worker x 2

£13.50/hour · Regular weekly sessions · Antrim Road, Belfast

We’re looking for warm, reliable Childcare Workers to join The Nest, our new in-house childcare provision at The Parent Rooms. You’ll provide safe, engaging care for children aged 0–3 while their parents take part in our wellbeing programs — planning fun, age-appropriate activities and building trusting relationships with children and families alike.

This is a sessional post with regular, guaranteed weekly hours during term-time, working alongside our Childcare Supervisor and the rest of our small, supportive childcare team.

No qualification? No problem — training is provided. If you’re not yet qualified, we’ll support you to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or Playwork) while you’re with us. If you’re already qualified or experienced in childcare, even better.

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine warmth for working with young children and their families
• Reliability and a team spirit
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
• An understanding of — or interest in — the sensitivity of supporting parents during pregnancy and early parenthood

Bank Childcare Worker x2

£13.50/hour · Flexible, as needed hours · Antrim Road, Belfast

This is a bank role: there are no guaranteed hours, and you’ll be contacted as cover is needed, with as much notice as we’re able to give. It’s a great fit if you’re looking for flexible, ad hoc childcare work that fits around other commitments.

• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
